The consultant will play a pivotal role in advancing origination and pipeline development for BIFT-supported investments that align with the Bank's DAFCR Program objectives. This involves close collaboration with the Bank's Agricultural Finance Division (AHFR.1), Financial Sector Development Department (PIFD) and the Agri-food SME Catalytic Financing Mechanism (ACFM), among others, to enhance synergies and co-financing opportunities, thereby boosting investments in non-sovereign operations within the agricultural sector. Additionally, the consultant will support the implementation of the approved BIFT projects and any future call for proposals issued by the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) to which the AfDB is eligible.
