The Bank wishes to commission an independent, evidence-based evaluation of its Private Equity portfolio in order to: establish a clear and reconciled view of financial performance; test the portfolio’s alignment with the Four Cardinal Points and the TYS; assess the development, social and economic impact actually realized; and derive forward-looking lessons to inform origination, portfolio management, capital allocation and the Bank’s broader role in mobilizing private capital for Africa.   To that effect, PINS/PIVP is looking for Independent Performance, Strategic Alignment and Development Impact Evaluation of the African Development Bank’s Private Equity Portfolio (Direct Equity Investments and Investments in Private Equity Funds).
