The Individual Consultant is to support the Teams of the Division (PESD.4) in business development efforts for a strong three-year rolling Indicative Operational Programme (IOPs), support in preparing business development strategy, delivering the lending program, coordination of project preparation activities, preparation of sector institutional analysis including physical, organizational, policy, governance, and identifying energy sector challenges and opportunities among others. Besides project implementation and project processing for Board presentation, the Division is currently supporting several feasibility studies in various countries. These studies are conducted by international consulting firms with the supervision of the power utilities and/or staff at the ministries of energy in the respective countries. The Individual Consultant will support in reviewing the delivered studies, design and tender documents, and subsequent preparation of the project appraisal reports in line with the Bank’s Quality-at-Entry checklist.  Further, the Individual Consultant is to support the Team of the Division (PESD.4) in portfolio supervision to expedite delivery and reduce the number of flagged projects.
