The African Development Bank has been selected as Supervising Entity for a proposal submitted by the National Smallholder Farmers’ Association of Malawi (NASFAM) under the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) Producer Organization Financing Window. In addition, the Government of Malawi intends to submit a Country-Led Proposal under the GAFSP Ninth Call for Proposals. Both operations will require extensive technical preparation, stakeholder consultations, project design, quality assurance, and processing support.

To strengthen project preparation capacity and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs, the Bank seeks to recruit an experienced Agricultural Economist to support project preparation, stakeholder coordination, portfolio management, and technical analysis activities in Malawi.
