The Macroeconomic Policy, Debt Sustainability and Forecasting Division (ECMR.1) is responsible for the production and dissemination of the Bank’s flagship publications - the African Economic Outlook (AEO) and the Macroeconomic Performance and Outlook (MEO) Reports, as well as other knowledge products on Africa’s emerging macroeconomic and development issues, and on the Bank’s priority areas. 

To that effect, ECMR.1 seeks to hire Senior Consultant who will contribute significantly to the drafting of Chapter 3 of the 2027 AEO. The drafting of the 2027 AEO will be led and managed by ECMR.1 with key contributions from the Africa Natural Resources Management & Investment Center (ECNR) and participation of other ECVP departments and a team of experts from other relevant Complexes of the Bank Group. The Senior Consultant will work under the overall guidance of the Director, Macroeconomic Policy, Forecasting and Research Department (ECMR) and the direct supervision of the Division Manager, Macroeconomic Policy Debt Sustainability and Forecasting Division (ECMR.1) and the Task Managers for the Chapter related to the Division’s responsibilities.
