The Trade Finance Division (PIFD.3) in the Financial Sector Development Department (PIFD) of the African Development Bank (AfDB – the Bank) seeks to engage a consultant to conduct a comprehensive review of the Bank’s trade finance business, including a comparative analysis of those of peer multilateral development banks (MDBs) such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Asian Development Bank (AsDB) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group.

In line with evolving market developments and the Bank’s strategic direction, the assignment will identify areas of improvement to strengthen the Bank’s trade finance value proposition and operational efficiency.
