Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of Regional Data Hub project activities.
Compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific project topics, with a focus on regional data products and datasets, highlighting key issues for relevant stakeholders.
Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments where necessary, including tracking Regional Data Hub project expenditures.
Serve as the focal point for administrative coordination of Regional Data Hub project implementation, liaising with organizational units and external partners to initiate requests, obtain clearances, and follow up on administrative actions.
Draft status reports, identify implementation gaps, bring issues to the supervisor’s attention, and suggest corrective measures.
Prepare correspondence on project matters, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, reports, and other documentation related to Regional Data Hub analytical outputs and data summaries.
Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions; prepare training materials and support capacity-building activities when required.
Respond to complex information requests and maintain organized records, including regional data repositories and documentation systems.
Participate in meetings and conferences and maintain coordination with local authorities, UN agencies, donors, NGOs, and other stakeholders relevant to the projects.
Monitor the work of implementing partners and report non-compliance issues related to agreed reporting standards and data requirements.
Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), concept notes, and support the development of current and future projects.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.
High school diploma with six (6) years of relevant experience; or
Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience in project support and implementation is required.
Experience liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups.
Previous experience with international humanitarian organizations, NGOs, or government institutions in a multicultural environment is an advantage.
Knowledge of institutional national and regional environments.
Knowledge of project implementation processes.
Knowledge of migration-related subject areas handled by the Organization.
Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming.
Knowledge of financial rules and regulations.
