This consultancy seeks to undertake a comprehensive study to identify, assess, and recommend priority standards for harmonization across the Africa Circular Economy Alliance (ACEA)’s Five Big Bets: packaging, electronics, fashion and textiles, built environment, and food systems. The assignment will provide an analytical foundation for strengthening continental harmonization of standards to support circular economy value chains, reduce non-tariff barriers, facilitate intra-African trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and enhance Africa’s industrial competitiveness and sustainability outcomes.
