Job Description:
Our client is in need of an experienced Auto Electrician with strong TMM experience from an underground mechanized mining background to join their team in the DRC.
Responsibilities:
Auto electrical maintenance, repairs and breakdowns trackless equipment and auxiliary vehicles.
Diagnose and install auto electrical equipment.
Performing equipment inspections.
Risk assessment and management.
Ensuring safety standards are adhered to.
Mentoring and training subordinates.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
Auto Electrical Trade Certificate.
Matric certificate.
N3 certificate.
French communication skills advantageous.
10 years’ experience as a qualified Auto Electrician in the mining industry, with at least 6 years TMM experience in underground mechanized mining environments.
Experience leading and training multi-cultural, diverse teams.
Previous expatriate experience in Africa.
Contractual information:
Fixed term contract with possible renewal.
FIFO rotation.
