Responsibilities:
Cleaning and parking vehicles according to departmental procedures
Handling general administration tasks
Performing pre-start checks on vehicle, considering safety requirements and reporting defaults accordingly.
Controlling and storing of assets according to standards and procedures
Ensuring compliance to relevant systems, procedures, and standards
Adhering to health, and safety standards, as well as procedures
Building and maintaining relationships with team members
Perform risk assessments (Activity Based and Mini)
Responsible for checking lubrication of equipment
Reporting any damages or breakages
Assisting engineering personally with breakdown and maintenance
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
Grade 12 / N3 / Equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
Competent B certificate
Code C1 Driver’s License
Required classification as per VTS testing for specific role (Orange +)
Medical Certificate of Fitness to work underground
The post is dependent on the successful completion of the Company’s pre-employment protocol such as qualifications verification, relevant psychometric assessments, and a clear security clearance
Minimum of 3 year’s practical experience of operating in an underground mining environment
