Maersk Line are looking to hire an enthusiastic and dynamic Counter Customer Service Agent. The role is to own/manage the customer experience in all interactions with customers and intermediaries that come to the Maersk Line counter. This primarily around release of documents and cargo. In all aspects of the position to identify and bring forward opportunities for improvement of the customer experience and Maersk Line processes.

Key responsibilities
• Act as a primary contact for walk-in customers at the counter
• Ensure smooth cargo release by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders; and assist customers/clearing agents on any issue related to the release of their cargo
• Receive original transport documents and release delivery documents (Delivery orders/invoices if required) 
• At all times adhere to company procedures and regulatory requirements 
• Drive efficiency at counter and work on countinous improvement opportunities
• Update systems to reflect Transport Documents status
• Correctly archive Original Transport documents and release files
• Demonstrate CARE PRO behaviors during all interaction with customers/agents
• Understand claims policy and its impact on company assets and guide customers best possible through any potential claim situation
• Always behave in a manner consistent with Company Cultural Amplifiers and loyal to the Maersk values.

We are looking for
• Commercial experience (sales, customer service or counter). 
• Industry experience (shipping; internal and external)
• Bachelor Degree
• English language (spoken and written)
• Good knowledge and understanding of the import process in general
