The specific duties of the consultants will be as follows:
a) Work under the leadership of the Senior Director and the AIF Leads to actively perform transactions advisory services, and project structuring, in collaboration with the AIF Team, AIF partners, project sponsors, governments, AfDB sector complexes, and AfDB regional offices.
b) Deal tracking. from across Africa, and work to streamline the existing deals portfolio and support the development of bankable deals to bring forward to the market whilst coordinating capital raise from the AIF platform.
c) Apply project finance valuation methods and tools, including development and/or supervision of financial models and preparation of financial and economic analysis.
d) Assist with writing key reports and organizing key stakeholder’s engagements and making recommendations for AIF management´s consideration.
e) Coordinate with AIF Team in exploring novel and pragmatic solutions to deal challenges.
f) Provide support to other duties as assigned by the AIF Leads and the Senior Director.
