The consultant will support the Deputy Director General's front office in coordinating activities across five Southern African countries—Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mauritius, and Namibia (RDCS) —to ensure effective coordination across the region. The assignment involves assisting the DDG with drafting analytical briefs, reviewing strategic documents, ensuring operational alignment with strategy, organizing workshops, and providing administrative support. The coordinator will also work closely with the RDCS team (country economists, country programme officers, and sector leads) to implement the department’s work programme. The consultant will also be the department’s communication focal point, working in close collaboration with the Bank’s communications team. The consultant should expect occasional travel to the RDCS countries
