Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:

In Egypt, Save the Children International has been working to ensure that children’s rights are respected, protected and promoted since 1982. We carry out both long-term development work and, more recently emergency humanitarian work.
This project aims to lay the foundation for two critical, cross-border solutions—case management and interoperable data systems. By using route-based priorities as a starting point and building on existing programming in countries, it aims to strengthen systemic responses and enable governments and partners to build shared frameworks for the protection of migrant children.

FIELD TRAVEL: The post holder would be required to travel at minimum 70% to the field sites located in Greater Cairo and possibly other governorates
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Project Implementation
· Ensure that activities are implemented in accordance to the Plan of Action (POA) and in timely manner and in line to project budget and with the Child Protection in Migration Coordination Specialist guidance;
· Supporting project team with administrative and logistical services;
· Issuing payments to field teams and supervising the settlement of open advances;
· Keeping track of project expenses sheet and project financial documents;
· Monitoring cash flow;
· Assist the Child Protection in Migration Coordination Specialist in developing and monitoring the project financial offline trackers.
· Assist team in budget forecasting;
· Carry over all the procurement requests;
· Supporting the project team in organizing trainings, workshops and other events in the field; as deemed necessary;
· Support in coordinating meetings with stakeholder;
· Organize and maintain project files; maintain electronic and paper records;
· Support SCI country office in coordinating some activities for other migration projects under SCI program.
· Conduct visits to other governorates for supporting the set up of other migration projects, and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders and data collection needed for these projects.
· Acting as focal point with the following support unites Finance, Admin and Supply Chain;
· Oversee the procurement process starting issuing and monitoring all the procurement requests ensuring the compliance and filing of required documents in accordance with the donor and SCI policies in collaboration with the procurement department. Follow up on vendor payments and purchase orders;
· Conduct any other tasks requested by Project Manager.
Reporting and documentation:
· Maintaining proper inventory records of project material and publication;
· Report weekly to line manager on tasks updates.
In case of Emergency:
· Promote children's rights, contributing to their well-being and protection in times of emergencies, guided by humanitarian principles and code of conduct.
· During emergencies, he/she should act in a way that facilitates SCI’s response to emergencies, giving priority to all assigned.
· Be prepared to support SCI interventions in response to emergencies and show needed flexibility
General:

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in; Commerce, Political Science or any other related studies.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· Relevant university degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of successful experience in project implementation with a reputed organization or NGO.
· Proven knowledge and skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
· Good knowledge and familiarity of reporting mechanisms and styles.
· Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Experience in financial accounting and administration (preferably in similar setting).
· Very good knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
· Good working knowledge of English and Arabic (reading and writing)
· Good knowledge of child safeguarding will be an added advantage
