The Senior Data Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the data strategy for the African Development Bank. This position offers a unique opportunity to build comprehensive data architecture from the ground up, leveraging significant quantities of structured and unstructured data. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in financial services with a forward-thinking approach to data management, AI integration, and automation. Under the direct responsibility of the TCIS Front Office Lead, the Senior Data Architect will be responsible for designing, creating and governing the bank's data architecture. This role is critical in establishing a solid foundation for data management, ensuring that data is organized, accessible, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The Data Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement an integrated data strategy that enhances the bank's capabilities and drives business value. This role will support data governance, integration, and architecture while ensuring alignment with enterprise data security, quality, and retention strategies.
