The African Development Bank (AfDB) seeks a Junior Consultant to support the Urban Development Division in 2025. The assignment includes assisting with the Malanville Sustainable Urban Planning Project, data analysis, project documentation, reports, presentations, and coordination of events and stakeholder consultations to ensure high-quality project delivery.

The Junior Consultant will be expected to provide analytical, technical, and organizational support to these initiatives, as well as to broader divisional priorities such as resource mobilization for African cities, preparation of the Bank’s participation in the African Investment Forum (AIF) 2025 Sub-National Finance and Investment sessions, and production of high-quality knowledge outputs.

The role involves data collection and analysis, preparation of project documentation, financial and technical inputs, event coordination, and support to project Task Managers. By doing so, the consultant will directly contribute to the Division’s mission of strengthening municipal finance, advancing sustainable urban planning, and ensuring effective project delivery.
