Under the supervision of the AFAWA Coordinator, the consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the AFAWA Officers by overseeing a regional portfolio of projects and interventions. This includes managing the Bank's investment transactions with AFAWA carve-outs, responding to AFAWA complementary support under access to finance and/or technical assistance requests, conducting gender assessments, categorizing Non-Sovereign Operations, and evaluating project performance and implementation progress. The consultant will also liaise with stakeholders, review financial reports, address challenges, and undertake various other tasks as needed.
