The Bank’s Human Capital, Youth and Skills Development Department (AHHD) plays a key role in achieving the Bank’s four Cardinal Points (CP), with a particular focus on CP3 on Harnessing the demographic transformation and CP4 on Building Climate resilient infrastructure. In 2026, the Department will be undertaking several analytical and policy work as well as taking to the Board several operations for approval. Some of the analytical work include: (i) end term evaluation of the Jobs for Youth in Africa Strategy (2016-2025) and Skills for Employability and Productivity in Africa (2022-2025), (ii) development of the Youth, Skills and Jobs Action Plan (2027-2033), (iii) development of the Youth Skills and Jobs Accelerator Pilot phase Report.
To this end, AHHD is seeking a Senior Consultant to Support Quality Assurance of Analytical Work and the Lending Programme & Portfolio, as part of the front office of the Director, AHHD, to support the timely and quality delivery of the planned analytical work and the delivery of the operational lending program.
