How can you make a difference?
This consultancy is aimed at offering training to all staff interested to further their knowledge in entrepreneurship and such coaching may generate ideas that for self-development in today's economic reality. While examining current trends and issues in today's workplace, the participants are challenged to explore their career interests as a starting point for entrepreneurial activities.

Methodology
The consultant is expected to use blended virtual learning approaches that comprises presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, and group work.

Deliverables
Training needs are identified – timeframe 1 day.
Training and learning materials are developed – timeframe 3 days prior to commencement of training.
Participants are trained – timeframe 2 hours per day as per schedule for a total of 7 days.
Certificates are issued to participants – time frame Within 7 days after the training is completed since the training will be virtual.
A final training report with input from UNICEF is issued – time frame Within 7 days after the training is completed.
The training targets about 60 participants (final list of participants will be communicated).

Sessions
The training will be offered virtually for 2 hours per day as per schedule.

The Consultant will work closely with the HR Officer for coordination of schedules to achieve the above results. The actual training will take a total of 5 days.

The Consultant will be paid in local currency and is expected to be a resident in Sierra Leone. The Consultant will be expected to complete certain mandatory courses that will be communicated.

The Training is expected to commence in October 2020 for a maximum session of 5 days, which will be staggered within a week or two weeks

Payment will be upon completion of all deliverables at the end of the assignment

UNICEF recourse in case of unsatisfactory performance: Payment will only be made for work satisfactorily completed as per agreed deliverables and accepted by UNICEF.

If the final reports and documents are not submitted according to the deliverables stated in this TOR, the payments will be withheld. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold all or a portion of payment if performance is unsatisfactory, if work/outputs is incomplete, not delivered or for failure to meet deadlines (Payment will only be made for work satisfactorily completed and accepted by UNICEF. All materials developed will remain the copyright of UNICEF and UNICEF will be free to adapt and modify them in the future.

 To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in relevant field.
A minimum of 8 of relevant professional experience.
The candidate should have proven experience in conducting trainings for UN/International Organizations.
Fluency in English is required.

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
