Job Description:
Our client is seeking a CIMA qualified Financial Manager with a background in the mining industry to join their team in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
Controlling of the management accounting and financial accounting on site.
Overseeing financial support services including procurement and warehousing, information management and payroll.
Developing and implementing financial, budget and business strategies and ensuring adherence to these.
Compliance, Corporate Governance and Risk Management.
Ensure legal compliance requirements are adhered to.
Financial reporting.
Provide mentoring, training and people development.
Workforce planning and management.
Community engagement.
Assisting in asset control.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
BCom Hons Degree in Management Accounting or Financial Accounting.
CIMA qualified Chartered Accountant.
Matric certificate.
Valid driver’s license.
10 years previous experience in financial or management accounting within the mining industry, with at least 5 years at management level.
ERP systems experience.
Experience with SHERQ Systems, Electronic Document Management System, Information Management Systems, LMS and PPMIS.
Applicants must have South African citizenship and currently reside in South Africa.
